Here are just some of the things people are saying about Green Tea:

Irish Gazette, James Elliott Brooks -

“… these guys cook!”

Luther College, Theo Awdng, SAC Spotlight Co-Chair-

“Green Tea was one of the more successful events. You brought a sense of energy, audience interaction, and unique music to the campus. You all have great personalities as well. Have fun on tour and we will bring you back!"

Celtic MP3 Music Magazine, Dionne Charlet -

"The album wails into being with “Shafted”, a multi-faceted, well-written and exemplarily played tribute to coal miners who lost their lives in an accident during the 1980s. The Irish jig speed is a slam-dance soft-shoe lament in full Technicolor whistle. Switch gears to song two for an on-the-farm in Killarney at daybreak teaser with “Trad Set”, where the fiddle does shine..."   Read the rest of this review here.

WI Public Radio, Jonathan Overby -

“Wow, they get us going, don’t they?  Let’s all storm State Street!”

University of WI - River Falls, Karyn Wells, Event Coordinator -

“Thanks again for a great show!”

Irish Gazette, Jim Tarbox -

"...It's (the Synergy EP) a terrific introduction, blending as it does their rock/jazz/blues influences. I missed their recent appearance at The Fine Line, but I've got to get to one of their shows. If you're a fan of contemporary Celtic sounds, you should too."

City Pages, Dino Corvino -

"It takes just one experience hearing Green Tea to become a fan of this Celtic band.  Perhaps that's why, when weather pushed their Concert on the Square show into the Great Hall last year, the place literally overflowed with people frantic to hear the music."

Chippewa Herald, Tom Chisholm -

"The Green Tea quintet played with the confidence of patriots from county Sligo before one of the largest crowd at the Heyde. The music was Celtic and hot."

Irish American News -

"The month of March brings with the Best Irish Bands nationally and internationally to play Ballydoyle!! It is THE place to hear great Irish music with an Irish Festival from March 1-17.  The Prodigals, The Young Dubliners, Flook, The Glengarry Bhoys, The Dublin City Ramblers, Elevation, The McCabes, Green Tea, The Wolfe Tones."

Celtic Stew, WUMD FM89.3 - Tim Larkin

"If this doesn't get your toes tapping then you'd better check your pulse!"

The 8th Annual Winter Fest was a blast! Thanks for joining us at our annual celebration of music and dance! A special thanks to Johnny B., Glen, Jerry, An Blas, Cashel Dennehy Irish Dancers, O'Dell Irish Dancers, Marti, Greg, Julie, Laurie, & Clark... We couldn't have succeeded without you!

An Blas put on a phenomenal show with their elegant singing and supportive instrumentation. The audience was swept away to Ireland! The O'Dell Irish Dancers took over the stage by leaps and steps (bounds)... The youngins were adorable... Cashel Dennehy rocked the evening with their fast paced & high energy dance sets... It reminds me of Milwaukee Irish Fest!

Congratulations to Keith & Patricia Williams for winning a copy of the new album!

See you soon,

~ Trevor from Green Tea
